Primary Vet Care

  • We will help take care of your pet whether they need updated vaccinations or may be ill. All doctor’s appointments begin with a full physical exam.

  • An annual exam is recommended even if you have no medical concerns about your pet. Regular wellness exams allow us to detect medical conditions in their early stages, making them easier to treat with less expense and greater success rates. Our veterinarians are trained and experienced to notice subtle changes in your pet, some which may be hiding at home. During your pet’s comprehensive “nose to tail” physical exam, your veterinarian will assess your pet’s health and address any recommended treatments.
  • We also treat a wide variety of ailments. From itchy pups to vomiting cats, we can help. We can consult on many topics such as behavior, itching/allergies, nutrition, preventative medicine, and quality of life. We try to make sure all your concerns are heard and worries addressed. We allot time daily for same-day sick appointments to try to see ill pets in a timely manner. With our in-house pharmacy, most medications we prescribe can conveniently be sent home with you the same day. We also have in-house diagnostics such as blood work machines and x-ray equipment. As general practitioners, we are trained to assess and triage all sick pets. If your pet needs emergency or specialized care we are unable to provide, we are happy to help facilitate a referral process to any of the wonderful specialists in the area.

  • We are allowing clients to enter the building and be with their pets if they have a scheduled appointment with a doctor. If there are no vacancies for a dedicated time-slot for a doctor’s appointment on a specific day, sometimes we may offer a “drop off” appointment. This means the pet boards with us for the day and the first-available doctor will see your pet in between their other appointments. In this instance, the doctor will communicate with the owner via phone about their pet, and the pet will likely stay for multiple hours. All pets are housed in kennels and given water. We will do our best to have your pet seen in a timely manner and by the doctor you may prefer, but please be patient with us as we do our best to see all the sick pets that need us.
  • If you are unable or uncomfortable leaving your pet with us as a drop off appointment but would still like them to be seen the same day, you may wait as a “work in.” This means all doctors are made aware that the pet is waiting with their owner in the car, and you will be brought into the building and be in the exam room with a doctor ASAP. Please be patient with us, as this requires a free doctor and a free exam room. We will do our best to see your pet as soon as we can, but we do typically already have full schedules utilizing all exam rooms.

  • You also do not need an appointment to have your pet weighed or pick up medications that have already been refilled.
  • If you are running late to your appointment, please call us to let us know. We will do our best to still see you, but may need to reschedule.
